Damping-Off

Caused by fungi/oomycetes (e.g., Pythium, Rhizoctonia), damping-off strikes in wet, stagnant conditions.

Prevention: sterile media, airflow, moderate moisture, and beneficial microbes; there’s no cure once collapse begins.
