Duration (Length of Effect)

Duration depends on route and metabolism: inhalation ~2–4 hours, oral edibles 4–12+ hours, sublingual intermediate, and transdermal extended. Product formulation, dose, and individual metabolism all affect duration and planning for symptom control.
