Flushing

Flushing is the process of running excess water or flushing solutions through soil or hydroponic systems to remove accumulated salts and nutrient residues. In cannabis cultivation, flushing may be done mid-grow to correct overfeeding or nutrient lockout, or at the end of flowering as a controversial harvest preparation step.
