Inflorescence

In cannabis, inflorescence refers to the arrangement of flowers on the plant. Female cannabis plants form dense clusters of flowers (buds) along branches, covered in trichomes that produce cannabinoids and terpenes. Male plants produce looser pollen-bearing structures. The architecture of the inflorescence influences bud density, shape, and yield, making it a central focus in cultivation and breeding.
