Lumen

Lumen (lm) is a measurement of visible light as perceived by the human eye. In cannabis cultivation, while lumens give a general sense of brightness, they are less precise for plant needs compared to PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) or PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density). Lumens are useful for comparing lamp efficiency but should be supplemented with plant-specific light measurements for accurate grow room planning.
