Rhizosphere

The rhizosphere is a biologically active zone where plant roots interact with soil microbes, fungi, and nutrients. Roots exude sugars and compounds that attract beneficial microorganisms, while microbes help break down organic matter and improve nutrient availability. In cannabis cultivation, a healthy rhizosphere supports vigorous growth, resilience against pathogens, and improved nutrient cycling.
