These are good if you want to mix water with R/O for the minerals but dont want the bad stuff necessarily... filters out of "up to 99% of the chlorine and 87% of the chloramine compounds" Ive owned a few.

Oh yeah I've seen those, I just wonder if it's necessary to use water with RO tho
 
Yeah, its just something I see some people do, I guess it's about adding some of the minerals back to the water.

Believe it's more of a soil thing. Oregons constant Gardener (NectarForTheGods) have been specifically dealing with this issue, they've been working with a couple if different commercial ops trying to get it right.

Here's a vid where he's talking about it affecting yeilds. It's something I've personally dealt with when I moved to ro. I started mixing 4 to 1 2 rounds back and no longer see the issues I was having mid/late flower.

Am finally pulling the nitrogen to get them to finish instead of hoping them over the finish line.
