Believe it's more of a soil thing. Oregons constant Gardener (NectarForTheGods) have been specifically dealing with this issue, they've been working with a couple if different commercial ops trying to get it right.
Here's a vid where he's talking about it affecting yeilds. It's something I've personally dealt with when I moved to ro. I started mixing 4 to 1 2 rounds back and no longer see the issues I was having mid/late flower.
Am finally pulling the nitrogen to get them to finish instead of hoping them over the finish line.
