Yup I am a newbie for sure. all the same,
here is what I got...
The Gear
room 6.5 x 6 walls and floor covered in orca
t5 ho 4ft 8 bulb fixture all 6500k for now
50 gl res
4x4 flood table also covered in orca
435cfm filter
18" 3 speed tilting oscillating fan
small heater for night time temps only
water heater set to 68
400 gph water pump
38 liter air pump with 4 large round air stones
Nutrients
Fox farm trio and supplements
gh cal mag for, super soft water 50-60 ppm out of tap
chlorinator.....cause why not
The girls
3- critical rapido (barn ease)
2- jack herer (rqs)
2- trans Siberian (auto)
1- white widow(df)
1- auto extreme (dp)

Lights on 20/4, feeding every 4hrs during lights on period, at 1.5-1.6 on ec
The critical and auto x are two weeks behind others. I had more but some died (my bad) so i started the newer girls. will post pics when i can. So far all are healthy.

Questions....p.h has a tendency to raise slowly but steadily to 7 (out of my tap ph) has been two days since last full flush. Ph (after nutz) started at around 5-5.5 now hoovering between 7-7+. I use the classic ph kit to test and adjust as best i can. ph down seems to take a while to lower res any thoughts? I usually put in 2ml of ph down in at a time and play the waiting of a few hours or over night?
Next... best way to get plants to stretch up more? i have awesome little bushes not much height. Planning on scrog

As for the stretching question:
Dude, don't sweat it!
Stretching ain't no damn good and I don't now how the hell the trend in thinking it is good got started.

Stretching is completely related to how close or far away your light is.

A big sprawling plant may look like it yields more than a smaller, compact plant but it doesn't, really.

Compact plants grow denser buds and usually a nice fat main cola.

Also, the plant will increase double or triple in size once it begins flowering.

Just my two cents, mate!

What are you gonna use once the plants begin to stink?

Big girls are at 5 weeks in from germination they took 7 days in rapid rooters. then went to sleep (did nothing but root) for about a week an half. upped the nutz and they set right to work. that was 2 weeks ago. little ones 16 days out from germ. doing great.

thanks bed. I was asking only for scrog purposes.
anyone out there with scrog advice?Tavidude, perhaps???
