Hi lads

Have any of you used Canna Coco Professional Plus?

On the back of the bag it says to water it with ph 5.8 to run off... Then afterwards apply nutrient solution.

But anywhere even on their website does not tell you to do this.

How do you guys use it? Do you just pot up then germinate? Or do you wash it first then nutrient solution ?

When in doubt follow the directions.

I used to buy raw Coco Coir and you had to wash the salt and soot out of it before you buffered it. I swear it smelled like the ocean it had so much salt. Each vendor has their own level of processing.

Yeah I wasn’t sure tbh. It doesn’t say on the website it needs washed. It says it’s ready to use out the bag.

Hello. I use canna coco and you can do both, either out the bag, but it dries out quickly or I have started to fertigate at my starting EC to when it just starts to run off, then I plant my germinated seed in the coco and cover the rest of my pot with cardboard, leaving a hole for her to grow through, to stop algea growing. I remove that once the plant has established.
Good luck,
