Floralfex auto system worth the price - floraflex neuts.. seem good but maybe a touch stronger than labeled.
Pics below journal. I really do enjoy the floraflex system as a whole. The automation it allows is super nice. Probably could have built something cheaper and if I didnt' have so much going on I probably would have. Just being able to purchase everything needed and connect it and go is a life saver on stress right now though. Ill probably order more drainpots for the 4x8 in january when i take this 5x5 down and put up the 4x8. They've made me a fan. I had to by a water pump and a condensate pump/drain pump outside of the kit and some larger totes for the res and drain tank but it's been great. I really really enjoy it.

- 11-28-22 - Screwed up and forgot to shut the floraflex flow valve to the off position so created a siphon when I filled my reservoir. Reversed probably 2-3 quarts of untreated water with a pH of 7.4 so after prepping res, immediately flushed/fed again with treated water of 715ppm at 5.8pH. Fun times.

- 11-30-22 - power went out for a few hours last night, woke up at 1am when power came back to get lights turned back off and quickly doctor crap before gettin back to bed. Woke up this AM to find a slow drip reverse siphon going on. Not sure why it didnt show before now, but there it was. So drilled a higher hole in the pvc of the res and that has fixed that problem. Talk about dumb. Didn't do my homework as well as I thought I had here but the whole pvc auto irrigation thing is a first and learning curves will exist. Flipside is the Floraflex setup has a valve I could have turned to the off position each time Im done watering and this wouldnt have been an issue, but I'd like it more automated than that. At this point that Floraflex valve is the "oh shit handle" in the car. I appreciate that it's there when I absolutely need it. Plants have a bit of droop going on now, and I'm thinking it may be the 10* temp drop as a result of finally running the exhaust out the window instead of letting it circulate in the room. Room temp dropped from 72* to 60-61. May end up buying a dehumidifier and letting the exhaust empty in to the room to maintain a higher temp but still undecided at present. Will update with pics later.
- week 3
- 12-01-22 - ^^^ 5.9pH 714ppm 30 sec feed AM
- 12-02-22 - ^^^ 5.9pH 714ppm 30 sec feed AM. Backed off twice daily feeds. Between the power outage, light change, learning the floraflex nutrient strength, and upping feed amounts toof decay and cannacheese started developing a mean claw. At the same time, they're both really taking off so I may be pushing them just a touch more than they want, but they can handle it, or theyre pouty also from all the commotion/changes they've endured the last 4-5 days. They're sprouting upwards an onwards however so that's always a good sign, not much neut burn either, just the claw. May be a rough month. We have to go for two hip injections and an MRI in the next week and the following so hopefully that goes better than we've anticipated. Some concrete answers would be ideal so better treatment can be orchestrated. Debating on getting a small speaker for the girls to play music for so they tune out some of my stress lol.
