Is it a really really bad idea to use these chinese drivers for a budget COB build? I was thinking the Citizen 1212 @ ~50w.
CLU-1212 is a nominal 36V COB which can operate up to 2.76A max (approximately 100W). Best efficiency is seen below 50W with this chip.

If I wire 2x CLU-1212 in paralell and I would like them to run at ~50w I could use a 36V 3000mA driver, correct?

Theres a Estonian guy on ebay selling 5x CLU-1212 for $70usd.
These 50w(36V 1500mA) drivers from China goes for $7.

So, I could get 250w for $105 + cost for holders? Seems like a great deal to me.

So, my question is..
1. Would this setup work? If not - why?
2. Whats the negative sides of using these cheap drivers? Will it harm the chips or will they just not last as long as a MeanWell driver?

Which drivers, need more info on them as I may have used them elsewhere
