Here we go!!
Put these little darlings in some distilled water with a wiff of Clonex. They are sitting in a warm spot. Should see some action tonight or tomorrow. Then it's into the rapid rooters!

Good Morning Gardeners!!
OK, they showed a wee bit of white rootlet through the crack in their shells this morning. Instead of letting them sit in the water like that all day while at work I put them in the rooters. Now I have three cracked beans in rapid rooters sitting in the humid box on the heating pat. Hope to see cotyledons by Friday. Sweet!!

They look good this AM. They are starting to unwind in the rooter. If my timing is right they are gonna be ready for dirt tomorrow. This is fun!!

OK-Dokey! We have liftoff. One of the beans has produced a stem and cotyledon so it's day 1 W00t.

We are in the dirt, repeat in the dirt!! Well one is anyways. The others are still chillin' in the rooter tray.
Here she is looking a tad diminutive in that big ol' smartpot!

And the other two slowly unwinding...
