Favorite Jeweler's Loupe or Other Implement for Checking Trichs?

Still got a ways to go, but what is your weapon of choice for checking trichs? In my 50s and can't see squat! So, need something with really good magnification

hey bud, a small microscope which fits to your phone, maybe a good punt, I use a50x loupe , but has a very small eye piece, .

only trouble with phones is they auto correct the light on most smart phones so you dont get true picture loupe all the way

Whatever you use, a pair of of +2 or +3 reading glasses will help a lot. I use a jewelers loupe with reading glasses. I just buy the Dollar Store +3 reading glasses.

Thanks Armanidog! Last year was probably the point of needing of readers. Kinda weirds me out even though I've had glasses since I was 10...That was kind of a joke about being old(er)!!! Was looking to see if there were better specific brands or specific models that were better.
Had Lasik scheduled for last year but got cancelled due to covid and haven't rescheduled yet. Will still have to use readers, but time to bite the bullet and get a pair...and a loupe! Thanks again!

This is the loupe I got. Or you can buy a USB microscope for your computer and take a small piece of bud inside and enlarge the view on your computer.
