If you essentially don't have any clear trichomes with the rest all cloudy, it's harvest time.
Amber trichomes, oxidized THC/cannabinoids, are not needed or desired. Maximal percentage of trichomes being cloudy is the primary goal. If you never get amber trichomes but they all turn cloudy, that's the ideal outcome (in my view).
