Hey All,

I topped a few of my plants the other day and the new growth has turned brown....

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix??

I'm just guessing... I read that you should leave a 3/4" stump to prevent infection. So I guess that's one possibility. But I noticed similar coloration elsewhere on the plant. How often are you watering, and what have you fed it so far?

I'm watering once a week with nutrients.

So far I give half the recommended amount of,

House & Garden Soil A, Soil B, Amino Treatment, Root Excelerator Gold.

Both plants have since bounced back and are doing well.

Does it sound like I am underwatering? Tried a new medium and seems to hold water longer.

I was thinking maybe you were overwatering, actually, but it's just a guess - not knowing anything about your grow. I would suggest you stick with water-only for awhile to see if it clears up. Your plant otherwise looks healthy and if it's getting too much nutes, that might tell you.

Thank you for the advice! I'll give it just water for a bit. Appreciate the help.
