She will have already started from seedling (getting taller), but should start accelerating when she's put roots down, from about week 3 you should start to see a faster growth in height. Light height/intensity, environment feeding and genetics all play a part in that.
When the vertical stretch has stopped will be an indication to start on the flowering nutes.
