How big until I water the whole pot?

Like the title says, I was wondering how big the plant gets from a couple weeks past seedling until most people water the whole pot / until run-off.

Like generally how many nodes, or maybe how big of a foot print the canopy is at?

I wait until the fan leaves are the same diameter as the container.

These are 2 weeks old tomorrow and I usually start around this size or like Doc says as the leaves reach the edges.

Much of that has to do with medium used and whether or not that medium has amendments. Plus size of pots is important too. I go off what the plants tell me, no matter the size.
