Im planning to try some selfing outdoors this year, using plants sprayed with STS, just one or two branches per plant. How far apart should these be planted to prevent excessive cross pollination? I know pollen can travel miles, but as the distance increases, odds of this happening decrease significantly. Id like the plants to all be within walking distance of each other, the closer the better, for maintenance reasons, but still far enough to keep the genetics from contaminating each other. I suppose bees might be my biggest enemy!
