I have 32oz wide mouth mason jars that I plan to put dried bud in with a boveda 8g 62% rh pack in with a small hygrometer in it. Do you put the boveda in the jar the day you put the bud in or do you wait to do it?

I put it in with the bud first day!! Really depends on how dry it is. I put in paper bag for 5 days then into jar with pack.

Thanks. I plan to dry it in the tent until I am able to easily snap the branches then trim it and put the buds in the jars with the rh packs on there.

I burp jars until rh stabilizes at 62, then add a boveda 62....

I let it dry until a twig snaps or near snapping and then in the jar with the 62% Boveda pack. Burp it two or three times that's about it.

I put it in same time as the bud. I use small hygrometers to make sure none go over 70%. If they do they get moved to a drying screen for a few hours. I would rather work from too moist than from too dry. This frickin desert I live in I have to deal with too dry if I mess-up in the slightest during the summer.

I have been putting them in right after I pull it from drying rack. They go Into a turkey bag with hygrometer and more than the needed amount of Boveda to stabilize then I move to jars with the packs. It works out great.
