How young can you start to remove fan leaves?

Plants are 18 days out of the coco today.Looking good but some fan leaves are blocking light to a very promising spot.
When can you start to remove leaves and is there some that i shouldn't remove?

It's personal preference. There is no right or wrong answer. People who mainline start topping and removing all leaves as early as the 3rd node..

mine is at 23 days and I did this a couple of times over the last week, it seems happy enough with no ill effects. Details are in my grow journal.

Other side....I don't really get rid of fan leaves til late in the game, those leaves a basically giant solar panels turning all that light into plant goodness...Just my 2 cents, to each their own!
