I bought this blurple for my veggie garden seedlings a couple years ago: “12”x12” Osunby LED Grow Light 15/45W UV IR”. Would this work for starting auto seedlings? My tent lights are HLG 600 Rspec, so I have to be really careful not to fry the seedlings (lesson learned on first seeds...). Would this be adequate for the first week (or how long)? Any guess on distance? (I have a lux meter, but not a par meter - not sure if this reads for blurples?).

Any recommendation on a good seedling light if this is bad? I saw the HLG 65 recommended in one post, but another said it was too strong for seedlings. Thanks

I use a 96w t5ho at 2-3 inches with no issues. Your blurple should be mild enough for germ/seedlings but do start a few inches away and with air movement...should be fine.
