New Grower My first grow - Sour Diesel Auto from HSO

Hi everyone. As it is my first grow I thought it's a good idea to share it with you and listen to more experienced growers

My growbox:

60cm x 60cm x 160 cm Royal Room
300W CFL Maxibright Dual
5w silent mixing fan
Can-lite filter with 100m3/h silent fan
3 x Sour Diesel Auto from Humboldt

So it's exactly 2 weeks since I put seeds on wet papers. They are growing not as fast as I expected but still for the first time it's not so bad I think. I'll try to make updates as often as I can and If you guys have any tips and tricks for me I would be more than grateful. Soil mix is Canna Terra Professional. I'm checking pH of water every time and trying to keep it around 5,5 - 6,5. For now I used only Voodoo Juice from AN 0,5ml/l and B-52 from AN also 0,5ml/l.

Hello dude and Welcome to AFN.....I don't use AN nutes so I cant properly advise you there...but I am pretty sure the best Ph range for a soil grow is 6.0 to 7.0 dude......5.5 to 6.5 is the best range for a coco which I use...(I tend to stay middle-ish around 5.8)...happy growing

Found this chart for you dude.....its not the values I just posted here....its a little more precise than that lol....and although it says "Hydroponics" on the left, it applies to coco too.

Thank you guys so much for your comments! @Vapo69 very useful chart! I'll try to keep pH level higher then. It's not easy because I don't have pen test so I use shitty drop pH test and also pH down from plagron that I use is so strong that one or two drops in 2L bottle I use for watering lowers the pH level to 5,5 - 6,0! :/

I used to have the same problem dude lol.....I use citric acid crystals for Ph down now dude....just ordered from the net.....and sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) for Ph up....both are food grade and organic(?).....I am sure some people use Jif lemon juice if they get stuck for Ph down....but don't do or quote me on that lol.

Edit:....idk your budget but I used the drops for ages dude and was successful with them, but my best piece of advice would be get/save for a halfway decent Ph meter dude.

@Vapo69 I spent on all that stuff with equipment and nutrients and seeds about 600$ (546 eur) but I don't want to even count it It's quite a lot for me. So for now I really need to slow down a bit I need to eat sometimes. And drink beer as well

Guys, the soil seems still not dry enough to water them (11 liters = 2,90 gallons pots). But do you think it's okay to add some basic nutrients next time in small amounts? All is from advanced nutrients (Basic: Grow Micro Bloom + all that additional shit like big bud, overdrive etc but it's for flowering ofc).

Totally understand dude....its not a cheap start up hobby lol....looks like you pulled a really decent setup together dude.....I didn't get a meter for a year, I think(?)lol...plants look good, don't know answer to question sorry, I don't use AN....but they look big enough to handle some nutes....just my opinion tho..
