... these are what typical nanners look like... I don't see any on that bud, but it does look overcooked (very mature), some yellowed sugar leaves and calyxes too. And if nanners are going to show, it's often late in the game like this one looks to be. That said, it's not uncommon for the pollen to be poorly/non-viable, and certainly no time left for seeds to form up well. But then half baked seeds are just as bad maybe worse!
