Need advice on increasing humidity

I have found that the humidistats in the humidifier don't work well. A humidity controller by inkbird works well with a humidifier that has a regular on /off switch.

Ultrasonic humidifiers will give you more RH then evaporative types, generally.

But you run the risk of PM (powdery mildew) getting on your plants unless you buy additives to place inside the water tank in those.

Every evaporative type I've bought has filters inside them. Honeywell evaporative types usually have a filter and then a HEPA filter on top of the plain white filter. These filter out 99.9% of the bacterias, blah, blah, blah.
