new grower need some advice growers choice gg4 auto

hi im on week 8 of the gorilla glue from growers choice and my critical purple is on week 7 doing a lot better but here are some picks the first two are the critical purple next ones are the gorilla glue

I did some reading and I think I have to switch the lite cycle to 12/12 but will this stun my critical that is thriving

I have 3 gorilla glue in a tent with 3 girlscout cookies. They are from Autoseeds. They were advertised as 65-75 day strains for both strains so I figured I'd put em all in the same tent. Well the GSC are getting chopped this weekend and 5h3 gorilla glue havnt even started to flower yet. I contacted autoseeds and they said 5hat alot of gorilla glue auto end up with more photo un them and so I have to change the lights to 12-12 and keep em on 12-12 till there done just as you would regular photos. I would suggest to you switch the lights to 12-12. But then again that all depends on how long you have left with your critical purple. You dont really want the critical to be in the tent when you switch the lights cause it will affect your yield 10-15%. I would suggest training the gh or topping it to ensure it doesnt get too tall and let the critical finish its cycle. It's a pain in the ass but in the end you'll get a bigger yield with the gg. Or you can put the critical outside to finish its cycle and swap the lights to 12-12. I would think that with the nice warm days your plant should keep that nice indoor green colour unlike when it has to deal with cold fall temps and rain. Hope this helps. Keep me updated. I'm going through it as we speak. It sucks I know. But it might be a good idea to put a scrog in so that they dont get too tall cause there gona stretch probably a fair bit and the scrog will help them stay away from your light so they dont get burnt. Post some pics in a couple weeks I'm curious to see how this works out for ya. My GSC are just about done then im flippin the lights to 12-12 on my a Gorilla Glue as well. Should be interesting. Or if you have tent space you can leave them be until your other ones are ready. At this point it's a pain in the ass but on the bright side thell give ya a bigger yield. Cheers

bit of a shitter that a newer grower gets a photoperiod or a confuzed auto can take it to 7 or 8 weeks and it il still be in veg,and then throw it out like i did or treat it like a photoperiod

To be honest, I did that on my 2018 grow battle plant dark devil and black cream run. I had a photo period plant going at the same time. Blue dream x Aurora i got as a test bean from nukeheads. Ran the autos until week 10 and flip my lights for the photo period.

Yea, I lost a few grams but the blue dream was worth it! So, if you push the critical purple until the last 2 weeks and then flip it might work for you!
