There could be something to this. Have you tried "fingerdabbing"? This is brushing your fingers over those pistils and rubbing it on your gums... This is a @Mossy thing. Give it a try. It's kinda crazy. Usually gets me up and running. Hits hard and fast but runs out quick. I think there's definitely something active with young flowering plants that hasn't been figured out yet
