pH up and down?

Lemon juice isn't the right right acid for adjusting pH, it will not remain stable so the pH will fluctuate. Vinegar nor citric acid work either

Sulfuric or phosphoric acid are the only two for our means.

I use GH. I have zero issues. If you have some on hand I would use it until it runs out and then switch if you want to try something new. I don't think at this stage, that switching to another PH solution is going to magically transform anything.

Agree I'm going to finish what I'm using...I was just looking for a safer option do to my high pH water...I'll stick to pH up and down....GH work good for me I just know now to use it sparenly....

You should read that lemon juice doesn't work correctly....
