Purple seeds?

Hi, i managed to get a couple of seed's from some Dark Devil Auto and they are purple / black in colour. The seeds i was sold looked normal and some of the plants went purple and the other half were like 50/50 or something. They have been hybridised with my bastard auto's and i'm just wondering does the colour of the seed predict the colour of the plant? It's the first time i heard or saw purple seeds and was just wondering if it makes any difference or will they all turn out the same?

I have never known a seed have an influence on the budz. But, you never know................the yellow and neon pink stripped turquoise spotted red ones I have may turn out normal..........
