I have some plants with "tight" buds and am wondering if I should trim the fan leaves to allow to allow light penetration?

no need to growbro fan leaves are a different matter if they get in the way cut or tuck them
 
Thanks guys. Actually that was probably the worst pic. Some have a lot larger leaves that put the calyxes below in darkness. Wasn't clear as to if they needed light or just the leaves needed light. I've heard a number of people say that the fan leaves are pretty much useless for indoor grows.
