Soil/Coco temps

Impossible to have coco temp at 50f when the tent is 78-80 with air circulating under the pot unless you water with 33f water.
Something is missing...or the 50 reading is wrong IMO.

Huh, that's interesting to hear. I mean I am somewhat reassured by your post but, I haven't had any problems with my instruments so far.

How can the coco be 28 degrees colder then it's environment with air flow under it?

;)

My thermometer is in the plant. I will absolutely put the thermometer on the floor of the tent. My hypothesis is that the floor of the tent could be cold because it's an uninsulated attic floor. This combined with the fabric pots evaporation could be lowering the temps of the soil.

The good news is that I have a small heater cycling and some water jugs as heat sinks. This has calmed my worried mind enough to let me start investigating more.
