I have an OG Kush plant that just started into week 7 of growth. i also have 2 autoflowers at 2 weeks old. should I switch the lighting to 12/12 to start the flowering stage now? what is the minimum veg time?

As I understand it, length of veg just means bigger plant although I'm sure maturity of the plant is important too and prob strain dependant.
That being said, I veg all my plants, autos &photos, 3 weeks, then move to a 12/12 tent for bloom.... keeps my plants small as I like I'm.
