The Confessional: i.e. dumb mistakes

I thought I’d start a thread for those of us, who should know better but still managed to blow it! Please feel free to add your most shameful grow mistake. Perhaps it will a) help set you free and b) help others avoid the same mistake!

So, I started my tent grow with great enthusiasm. Nice clean tent, fresh organic soil, temp and humidity controls in place, great seeds. I was stoked for a all-time personal best. Week one looked outstanding, week two still pretty good, week three …hmmmm, week four time to cull these sad plants.
I noticed a slightly musty smell and realized that I had left the air intakes closed when I repositioned and cleaned the tent. No oxygen equals no photosynthesis! Lesson learned
