New Grower The green bandit goes indoors

So It's coming into winter here and I've been toying with the idea of growing a plant indoors. Setup is a plastic tote and two t5 cfls. Not sure on pot size, strain or how to grow indoors yet. Thinking about a 4litre pot with the same potting mix I use outdoors? I was going to do a mephisto order this weekend and I'm open to ideas about what strains to order, preferably something indica dominant low odor and pretty quick that won't get to big as I only have limited space. My box can only accommodate about 18 inches of vertical space and is about 24 inches wide × 36 long. I can put her outside in full sun of a daytime as temperatures rarely fall below 20c of a day and bring her back inside of an evening? Size or final weight doesn't matter as it's only a bit of fun to see if I can grow some nice buds with my cheap shitty setup. Open to any ideas on what I'm doing as I've never grown a plant longer than a month inside before. Will a 4 liter pot need watering more than once every 24hrs? @archie gemmill @hairyman you guys are probably going to get asked some really dumb questions in the next few months

Wait till 420 for seeds.i only buy when theres a sale.
Ohh i was thinking 1L pots.a3L will need watered twice a day with your temps evaporatin etc.
Been a few successful bucket grows

I just noticed there is dimensions ,,,, it's his winter Archie it might not be as dry as you suspect,,,

What's your winter like you put temps in as well lol

When I had seedlings in the tote last winter I think temps were around 15c of a night and 25c ot a day inside the box. No extraction, but have a small fan inside of box. Seedlings seem to go ok in there but I've never tried to flower a plant in it. Humidity is usually pretty low in the winter.... How big of a pot would I need so I only have to water once a day at most?? Would I be able to flower it in the box with a t5 with 2 55w bulbs? I could always keep it in the 1gal pot and if it starts to drive me crazy I'll transplant it outside

.......subbed up dude....I use 8 litre fabric and water once a day.....buuuuuuuuuuut even then they can get pretty dry, when they are in flower.......and the strain?.....IDK if Mephisto do a small and not smelly dude.......I think Northern Cheese Haze was the least smelly....but she ain't small.....:smiley1:

my 3L are airpots and my soil mix is very light with a good 30%+ of perlite.so maybe a less well draining pot,heavier soil and a bit of luck ya can pull it off
was it dr bubbles that had the buckets n led screw in bulbs in the micro section,but its very quiet at the mo.

Ok so I have just ordered a strawberry nuggets, gold glue and double grape....I will probably start them all and keep the smallest plant indoors and the rest can go outdoors after a few weeks inside. If it starts to stink out the house she can live in the shed :smoking:

I haven't found a tape measure yet

And you will get free ones might as well set a small one off in a pop bottle to see how it turns out

So my calc is 9 pots so far

I can only just fit 6 1gal pots into the box . Should I start them off in solo cups to stunt their growth a little bit? Maybe I might enter the lighting battle this round .
