I'm sad to say that I lost 2 out of the 3 Northern Lights babies to bugs. Heidi is the only one left standing, and she has lost a cotyledon:
Last night I put 3 more seeds to soak: 2 Purple Kush from CropKing, and 1 Bubble Gum free sample from GrowersChoice.
I had 5 of the purple kush, and 2 looked small, like maybe not mature, so I'm doing them first. If they don't bust out I'll whine and complain, and start over.
I wanted to try a 100% Indica strain (except for the Ruderalis to make it autoflower). Purple Kush is supposedly only grows a foot or 2. This time I baked the soil for 2 hours at 175°F to kill whatever's in my homemade compost before it eats more babies. I'll post progress next week.
