Hey all. New here on AFN. so far, I’ve found this community to be unparalleled in terms of knowledge and willingness to help newbies. So, thanks for that. After a couple weeks of intensive research and acquiring products, I have begun my first grow. I’ll be using:
• 27x27x60 mars hydro tent
• TS1000 mars hydro LED light
• 5 gal fabric pots with fox farm strawberry fields soil (only stuff I could find locally)
• coldwar organics nutrients (bud bread & coming of age)
• 4” vivosun in-line fan w carbon filter

planted seeds straight to pre-watered soil on Saturday at noon. No soaking or anything just dropped em in the pot. I am still waiting for signs of life. How long does it usually take for seedlings to surface? Just anxious to get things rolling I guess.

Welcome to AFN!!! Setup looks pro! It can take anywhere from 5-7 days to poke their heads up. So you’ve done everything right so far now you will get your lessons in patience lol. Still to this day if the seeds haven’t popped up in like 3 days I start digging to see if there is an issue. DO NOT Do this I have killed a bunch of seedlings by doing this and if I would have just left them alone I would have been good. Anywho if you ever have any questions feel free to tag me or pm me, if I don’t know the answer I probably know the person here who does
