Here's my weekly update. Yesterday it got up to 107°F on the deck, so today I put up an improvised awning:
I waited for the 4th node to appear before i started a little LST on Heidi (Northern Lights auto) and Hannah (Bubble Gum auto), 5 days ago. I bent the girls over with a #14AWG electrical wire, and did a little leaf-tucking here and there to keep the lower nodes in the sun to see if i can get some lower branches to catch up with the main cola. Maybe they should call this kind of LST "bend over and spread'em." I'm impressed with how fast the lower branches are happening. Here's Heidi @28 days old, and 5th day of LST:
Here's Hannah at 21 days old, 5 days after first LST:
Magnolia (Purple Kush auto) is only supposed to grow 60cm tall, so she's not getting bent over. @RastaDaniel suggested she just get her lower branches spread a little when she's older, so that's the plan. She's 13 days old today. :
The girls are still getting full sun all day, and 130w of LED's @14" at night to complete a 20/4 light/dark cycle. I'll post an update after another week. Thanks for all the help and support from @420Forever and the crew at the Live Stoner chatroom.
