Ok I am pretty sure I know the answer but the people on some forums that say “cut the net off the jiffy pot” when you transplant are either hallucinating or they haven’t had it crumble off their plant yet during transplant!
You do just stick the jiffy pot net and all right into the pot it’s being transplanted to correct??
Thanks for the pointer

Net needs to come off with autos, roots will get thru, but the time lost is not able to be made up for with an autoflower, can cause small girls... I germinate seeds and place straight into their final pot. Autos are on the clock, no need chancing slowing down with either the net, or the disturbing of the roots.

Well my soil I got is PH’d to 7.3 so already gonna take a lil work to get it down into right range but got some root riots ordered for next go around and both that are going now are getting moved in the morning! Just popped seeds in Friday and already standing up asking to be moved! Hopefully the ph in jiffy starters don’t give em issues!
Thanks @maño’green much appreciated

Since 1st time doing it this century I didn’t wanna start out trying to be fancy with rock wool n hydro. Maybe after I make it thru a harvest in soil can give it a try! Since 1 roots already starting to show thru the net on its jiffy I will prob leave that 1 on and take other net off! Can see if there is a difference

Ok I have read ph up or down is not good on the plants so since my water at the house is almost 8.0 after 24 hours and even distilled is 7.1ish so should I get an aquarium air pump and put the hose into the water to oxygenate it or what?? My brain isn’t remembering if that would help or not but I am either hoping it will help or gonna buy a brita water pitcher with a filter to get the chlorine etc outta my tap water but have read so much all over that it is all running together on me!
Any advice would help! Thanks
