In my book these are the first true leaves and day one when I am counting.

Botanically speaking, 1st set after cotyledons. For training purposes, I start my node count at first multi-fingered set.

Thank you both for replying. So @Mañ'O'Green is that part of my estimated 12-13 weeks or @Capt.Quirk is this my starting point on the same time scale? Probsbly a decent loupe would be better to answer that? Any recommendations on a half decent one?
Thanks,

Are you growing autos or photos?

Auto seed vendors usually quote from germination to harvest.

Photo seed vendors generally quote from flip -12/12 to harvest.

All seed vendor's clocks and calendars live in the Twilight Zone. The only clock that counts is in the plant. :aha:

I start counting when the seed pops above soil but that's just how I do it. Everyone does it different.

Ya i count from breaking ground as well. Just makes sense to me.
