So things are underway now. Going to try a dirt hydro combo. I noticed hydro is slow to take off until roots get to water. So hopefully it will speed up with a touch of dirt.

I hope you have a lot of hydroton or perlite in the bottom of that cup or that soil is going to be soggy.
