Live Stoner Chat Advanced Nutrients and ppm

fwee, in my experience autos tend to be more prone to ca/mg deficiencies than photos. Then you have a lot of LED growers here, and those lights seem to make the plants hungry for it. On my current grow with HPS, I did not add any extra ca/mg to start. About 3 weeks in, I saw a few brown spots and light green streaks forming on some lower leaves which appeared to be a very early mag deficiency. I started adding 4ml ca/mg to each feeding and I have seen no further issues. So you can definitely take a wait and see approach if you stay on top of things.

i use the AN line and I set my tap in a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone. When I add my calmag+ nutes and additives, my ph is always 5.8 I should be running hydro instead of soilless medium!! Every time to 5.8!! I will say I do need cal/mag alot sooner and get the little brown spots in late week 2 and definately like Andy does in week 3. I run LED and cannot live without a hude jug of calmag. I set my ph to 6.3 going in and as the medium dries, the soil ph goes up through 6.6 and back down again the next time I water. If you dont have one, I would get a Accurate 8 soil probe and be done with the ph guess work!!
