Dogs that won't hook on get culled, not politically correct but necessary in camp. We aren't mushing now but still need to function as a team.

I was just going to ask about mushing. I know they love to work.
Rescue sent me a beautiful Husky and he was doing great til he filleted my finger out of the blue and my son passed him along to someone else. It didn't bother me too much. I had no intention of getting rid of him early, but he was gone when I got back with stitches. Beautiful dog, but she who must be obeyed gave the order.
