I lick the outside of paper wetting the glue through the paper.. and thus avoid licking the glue altogether ...

and i always rip the excess paper off.. i've made too many wholes in jays the other way ...

I never even knew there was joint rolling terminology nevermind different kinds of joints till I met you bunch.. fill it, roll it, lick it, smoke it. I never realized it was a science.
