3000k is not terrible but it's not the best veg and flower combo. 3500k has 18% more blue and still plenty of red which is the best combo for a full crop start to finish.
It doesn't look like much but the 3500k does go deeper into the red. We all are used to seeing bright blue for veg which we don't see much of in the 3500k but I assure you there is more than enough to veg plants much better than you would expect. Short and bushy plants in veg has actually become a concern to a few people as they are not used to it. It does shows the plants getting more than it needs.
