Not having to pH was a major reason for me to use BioBizz Light Mix. But I'm a lazy grower and perhaps you might get better results if you pH.
Need to pH depends a lot on the water being used.

Bio-Bizz Light likes to run at PH 6.3 going in. If your starting water is close it won't matter but most municipal water is much higher than that. My tap runs as high as 8.0 and that will mess with your grow.
