You mean short? They may be if the light is more intense than what you're used to also. I went with 5 gallon pots this time. You seem to start losing a lot of depth with the 3 gallon pots.

I was worried I wouldn't have the height needed if I went with 5's or 7's. Next run will probably be in 7's..

@Black Dog LED how far above the canopy would you be running this light?

It all depends on the footprint you are trying to achieve. With this light you could hang it 24 inches above the canopy for a 4x4 footprint or have it at 32 inches for a 5.5x5.5 footprint.
