I'm going to start Tarantino style with the ending first, and then show you the journey.

I got some Blackstrap seeds as a freebie from Multiverse and grew them out. My friends and I are impressed enough that I ordered more.

Really perfect bud structure and leaf ratio. Almost no trimming.

Here's the results of the last one:

Recovered from topping and stapled flat

Note that the bottom 2 nodes(3&4) are stapled in an X, and the 5th is / to them It seems like it blocks the lower buds sites less this way.

Getting some unusual growth in one plant.

Growing much taller than the others.

First node: normal.

Second node: 2 leaves, 3 shoots, 2 on same side.

Third node: normal.

Fourth node: 1 leaf, 2 shoots that side only.

Fifth node: 4 leaves, 4 shoots!

Above that is a compact mess of tiny greens that my eyes can't translate yet.

The top has self split into 2 heads.

I've done zero cutting.

The polyploid is starting to show purple.

The other 2 are NOT, but are getting much more frosty.

Not mad either way.

One continues as expected.

The other 2 have green leaves still, but much more frost.

This is the other 2 that are not getting purple leaves.

They are frosting to the tips of the leaves though.

Waiting for more seeds to sprout. As soon as they need a spot under the light I'm cutting these.

Another 2 weeks has become another another.

Still growing fatter and pushing out fresh from every bud.

No significant fade yet.
