You didn't see what they looked like a little over a week ago!! Lol. They have most definitely improved since then mind. Crazy how resilient they are.... They're the only plants im capable of keeping alive. My fellas nan is always givin me plants. Tis a death sentence... I cant even grow grass f the moat part lol. If these were my first plants and the other 2 hadn't come before it i probably wouldn't be worried at all. The other 2 have left them a lot t live up too! Lol.
So long as the light don't kill em they'll be aaaaaright :-D

When to flush my Northerns? Any advice appreciated.

NL#1 Day 75
NL#2 Day 67
NL#3 Day 65

So ive done a vid again... by my reckoning its a lot less hassle and shows the plants more. Seems every time i do one though i forget EVERYTHING i wanted t say. Bit like when i start my update.... what art from whenst i owt update doeth against? LOL!

So i flushed NL#1 yesterday and shes on PH water from here on out :-D NOT LONG NOW :-D Dunno whether its a the right time t do it though... im crap at this knowing when things are ready malarchy, im such an overdoer of things.... as oppose t underdoing. Youd know if you came my house f dinner........ burnt everything!! We have t scoop chips in this house as there is no substance left t fork em, lol. (Thats not an invite btw... you druggy losers can stay away!! Lmfao!!!!) But anyways you see my predicament. I dont want them to go early AT ALL but too late aint much cop either.

If you wonderful people could hook me up with some advice it would be mucho appreciated...o?
NL#1 i aint worried about as shes on the road (i didnt even plan t flush yet but medi started his the other day so after pooing myself a tad i got the job done) and i aint going back now. Tis NL#1&2 i need guidance with... pretty please :-D

If someone knows of a link/site that has info as t what happens/how t know when autos have gone too far the other way that would be ridiculously helpful. I have had a gander myself but t no avail. I want t leave them as long as humanly possible t get the most psychoactiveness. THC all day son!!!!! :-D :-D :-D
Ive heard that CBD fellow is a pleasant chap but me and THC have got a special connection.... an unbreakable bond.... a lifetime of memories.... we are one with each other. I'm sorry I can't help you, I'm going based on a combination of schedule and looking at where my plants are at vs where they should be when they're done and guessing, so I'm giving them roughly a two week flush just to make sure it's extra smooth, even if I lose a bit of yield as a result. I can't see your video btw, I get a 403 error, not sure what that's about :\ Hopefully someone comes in with an answer soon.

I hear ya Defo better t opt f tastiness over quantity. My APWC had at least a 2 week flush by the time i chopped her down.
NL#2 is a week behind her older sister so ill probably keep feeding her nutes til then and see what she looks like in a week compared t NL#1 if no one gets back t me
Had the video set as private (i think) so should be working now mush (i think ). Over 3 months of journal and i still havent managed a none bodged update..... my time WILL come!! lol.

I think they are looking great but hard to tell how much time is left without looking under the magnifier. The video worked fine for me, it's a nice change from all the pics we see on here! My advice is to stake some of those side branches before they fall over! Looks like you've done a great job and will be rewarded soon enough!

What's the deal with your light? It seriously hurt to see those beauties getting burned! I also run a 600 watt HPS but I have a cool tube to keep the heat down. My closest bud is probably only 16-18 inches from the bulb and temps are only in the mid 80's at that level. I could get the light closer if I wanted to, but I don't because I've bleached colas before with it! I can move around directly under my light and it's not hot, I bump my head on the cool tube all the damn time! Anyway, you should treat yourself to a cool tube reflector for your next grow, you'll be glad you did!

Cheers zach Theyre a lot o cloudy and a lot o clear... not many trichs though compared t my last 2. Reckon its cause of the light damage. They had a period where they just stopped doing everything f about 2 weeks. Reckon it was all the stress from the light.

The deal with that is because i started the northerns later than the other 2 they were my babies so i chose t give them 2 all my attention as they were my first borns. When i put the northerns in i had nothing t keep the canopy at the same level so the light was high f the big uns and the northerns were wayyyyyyyy down low so had ridiculous stretch going on.
Tbh im not counting the northerns as proper grows cus i really havent done em any justice, was too busy caring f my best gals ....if they were ids social services would o taken em away, haha.
I am considering a cool tube, cant really afford yet though. Not gonna have the same issue next grow though as ill be starting them all at the same time (another reason they aint doing too great is cus they were on different feed schedules and stuff and it was a lot stressier than just one big bucket o feed). Defo be getting one when i can purchase one cheap enough though... dont have t constantly keep me tent open then.... although we hallway does smell very sensual lol.

Hey no problem.. To stake them, get some bamboo stakes at the nursery and stick a few in the soil around the edges of your pots. I like to stake early so I don't damage roots but it's ok to do it now considering the alternative. Use pipe cleaners (whatever you call them over there) and tie the branches to the stake, that way they don't fall over with the weight of the buds towards the end! You can also use twine or string or whatever to tie them up with.

Since you already have the light and ballast, the cool tube reflector is pretty cheap by itself. It will help so much, I can't say enough about them.. I promise I don't work for them! You can get so much closer and the heat is almost nothing which is why I stick with my HPS over led. Your harvests will improve in every way, I promise! Here is a link I found.. $56 US with free shipping! I'm sure you can find them over on your side of the pond for about the same price.
