Happy owner of a FCe3000 here and the driver is isolatable and the cables have plenty of length to make this easy. Highly recommend the light. I run mine in a mars 3x3 tent, I think you’ll be good to stick with the 3000 in a 3x3
Recent grow under the fce3000 capable of making fat dense buds and was only at 75% intensity during flower

Sure, you can remove the driver outside the tent.
a pair in a 3 x 3 tent, lol you will struggle i use a single 315cdm with an adjust a wing medium enforcer reflector 1.75m x 1.45m footprint why waste money one will suffice plus they pull 328w at the wall the hps 600 pulls around 700w and is super hot cdm lots cooler and better end product and comparable with light intensity as 600w hps, another plus is you can now but dimmable ballasts for cdms so 100w, 200w 315w and 400w i think super lumen in uk the ballasts can be bought for £50
