Yes pretty much right there. I had them higher when they were sprouts but they got wicked leggy. 24 inches, or 60 cm seems about perfect for now.
I'm a leg man . My cobs are at 100 cm but I can adjust the intensity to 8000 lux . Once the plants reach their comfort zone they stop stretching . Just my approach on the topic of light . :toke:

Sounds quite reasonable and smart way to do it. Kind of allows the plant to adjust itself more dynamicly I guess. I just take my light as close as I dare always, but for beginning I go with least wattage I can to save up on electricity.
