Yes all photos topped at either 4th node or the 4th true node(discarding the lowest single bladed branches), depending on lower branch formation.

So if the branching on that first node is much less developed then the next one up, you would go up an "extra" one?

yes precisely...i top at the earliest opportunity, but will wait for an extra node if they are underformed on the single bladed set.
